About the Author

June Conway

Educator · Nutritionist · Sunday School Teacher · Author

June Conway is a retired educator, nutritionist, and lifelong student of Scripture whose work spans more than four decades of public service and teaching.

A native of Louisburg, North Carolina, June graduated from Riverside High School in 1966 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics Education from Bennett College in 1970. She later completed a Master's degree in Nutrition at North Carolina Central University in 1996. Over the course of her career, she served students and families through the Baltimore City Public School System in Maryland, the Franklin County Public Schools in North Carolina, and as a WIC Nutritionist in Warren County, NC and later as WIC and Nutrition Director for Rural Health Group, Inc. in Halifax County, NC — a role she held for over 37 years until her retirement in 2015.

Since retirement, June has continued her life's true calling: teaching. As a Sunday School teacher at Nelson Chapel Baptist Church in Louisburg, NC, she has spent years guiding her students through Scripture — and asking the deeper questions that led to both of her books.

Her debut title, Sacred Lineage: A Bible Study Journal for Reclaiming Your African American Spiritual Identity, invites readers to explore their faith through the lens of heritage, guided study, and personal reflection.

Her second title, The Hebrew Heritage Toolkit, is a comprehensive, scripture-based research guide examining the biblical prophecies, historical evidence, and DNA ancestry data that connect the African American experience to Hebrew identity.

June Conway writes with the precision of an educator, the care of a nutritionist, and the conviction of a woman who has spent a lifetime in the Word.
